RAIN PLANS! If it is falling on Friday, come straight to the P’bo Square Mall at 6pm, we’ll have plenty of lanterns to share!
Friday, December 21st, 2018 Downtown Peterborough ~ 6:00 to 7:00 pm
All ages are invited to join in with a drummer-led lantern parade and visit five special stages with dancers, musicians, and beautiful puppets performing in and around the Peterborough Square Mall, all to celebrate the return of the light with the spirit of winter solstice festivals happening around the world.
6:00 pm Gather in the alley behind Watson & Lou (383 Water St.)
Bring your lanterns or purchase one! Parade with us on a jolly, SHORT jaunt as we light up the block along Water, Hunter and George streets, led by Granny and the Star Child … and drummers galore.
6:30 pm (approx.)
Arrive at our first destination in front of Peterborough Square Mall (Simcoe & George Sts.) to begin a magical tour, indoors and out, of five special performances.
Post-show photo ops! Join us in the Mall after the show to take photos with your favorite characters!
Suggested Donation of $10 per family or Pay-What-You-Wish!
Donations will be accepted by our mobile box-office folks in red capes at the beginning and end of the event.
